American Legion Community Post 46 is currently based at 5309 Sepulveda Boulevard, where its clubhouse and banquet hall also host meetings, community events and other local gatherings.

Post 46 has been part of Culver City civic life for nearly a century. In 1929–30, the organization built an elaborate clubhouse at 3824 Hughes Avenue on land donated by city founder Harry H. Culver. The building was constructed over the site of what was described as the area’s first swimming pool and was formally dedicated on August 9, 1930. Post 46 later moved to Sepulveda Boulevard, while its former Hughes Avenue clubhouse was restored and eventually designated a Culver City Significant Cultural Resource. The post has continued its longstanding role in honoring military service and providing a gathering place for Culver City veterans and the community.
